Injury Care EMS “Rocks the Shot” with FREE Covid-19 Vaccinations

Join us as we kick off summer with a ‘Rock The Shot’ COVID-19 vaccination event at the Idaho Botanical Garden.

Beginning June 24, ICEMS is conducting a series of more than 10 Rock the Shot COVID-19 vaccination events at the Botanical Garden. With paid admission, visitors can listen to live music at a Great Garden Escape or Live on the Lawn concert and get a first dose of their Covid vaccination — for freeClick here to see a calendar of events.

According to the Centers For Disease Control (CDC), only one-third of the population in Idaho has been vaccinated, while more than 50% of Americans have been immunized. Idaho is one of the states with the lowest vaccination rates in the country.

“We need to push forward to raise Idaho’s immunization rates and we are thankful to have this grant to help us go into ‘overdrive’ to achieve these goals,” says Dr. Richard Radnovich, Owner and Medical Director, ICEMS. “The sooner people get vaccinated, the safer they will be from a possible new variant or a resurgence of COVID-19. Plus, we will all be able to return to live concerts, like these, without restrictions much more quickly.”

ICEMS is offering the Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines at the ‘Rock the Shot’ events. Boise State University will offer second doses of the vaccine at its walk-in clinic.

ICEMS is also conducting a variety of clinics at other locations throughout the summer.

Applicants will be given a $5 virtual gift card for an Anheuser-Busch product.

How to find other perks in your area

Plenty of other businesses, including local sports teams, are offering incentives to get vaccinated. The best way to find them is to keep tuned in to your local news. Both TV news and newspapers will inform you of what perks you can find in your area. You can also scout places on Facebook, especially if you live in an area that has its own Facebook community for happenings like this.
